Testimonials

Warriors Honor Cruise
Following Alex's injuries I spent many weeks at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. to monitor the progress of his recovery.  During that time, I met many other wounded heroes and their dedicated caregivers.  Some of the wounded have been patients in therapy or recovery for years, and their loyal caregivers will provide 24/7 attention and care for years to come.   What started as an offer to send Alex on a cruise to get away from it all and 'celebrate life' has morphed into an invitation to all wounded warriors and their caregivers to 'escape' with Alex and his buddies, family, friends and supporters - even if it is only for 7 days.      --JJ--

As an American and veteran I

wanted to 'give-back' to our

wounded veterans, every year.

I am honored to be a part of a wonderful charity as a sponsor

and exclusive agent for our

wounded heroes.

Being the President of Warrior’s Honor Cruise is one of the greatest honors of my life.

My connection to this mission began long before I ever stepped on board. On February 8, 2007, an IED struck my truck and left me with a traumatic brain injury. The years that followed were some of the hardest of my life.

In 2016, I went on my first Purple Heart Cruise, and it changed everything. For the first time since my injury, I felt surrounded by brothers who truly understood the weight I carried. The camaraderie and healing I found on that ship helped save my life.

Since then, I’ve been part of nine of the ten cruises, serving in various leadership roles and watching the same transformation happen for others. I was also selected to be a member of the BOD with Combat Wounded Cruise . That is why I stepped into the role of President — to continue the mission that gave me hope when I needed it most.

Warrior’s Honor Cruise is about connection, healing, and preventing veteran suicide. I am committed to ensuring that no Purple Heart recipient ever feels alone in their fight. This organization saved me, and now I am honored to help it save others.

Sailing Toward Hope — and I am my brother’s keeper.

--President  Richard Fuller--

Mike proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.  He was injured in combat while serving his country with honor.  Like many warriors, his path to healing has been long and filled with challenges--both seen and unseen.

Through the Warrior’s Honor Cruise, Mike has found connection, renewal, brotherhood and a send of belonging that continues to strengthen his spirit.

“Warrior’s Honor Cruise is something I look forward to every year.  It renews my sense of purpose and belonging.”

The Warrior's Honor Cruise was an incredible experience for our family.  It offered a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Purple Heart recipients and their families, creating meaningful friendships and a strong sense of camaraderie.  Beyond the connection and shared understanding, the cruise itself was so much fun--filled with laughter, relaxation and unforgettable moments.  We left with lasting memories and friendships we will truly cherish.  --The Mather Family
